LIGHTNING strikes 20 miles apart have wrecked TWO homes owned by the same stunned couple.
Karl Womphrey, 40, and wife Susan, 35, were first blitzed three years ago when they lived in Cleethorpes, Lincs.
Now their new cottage in Welton has been destroyed by ANOTHER bolt — defying odds of 10million to one.
Karl said: “If someone in the village was going to get struck by lightning it was bound to be us.”
