10×10 / 100 Words and Pictures that Define the Time

This guy has taken the RSS feeds of several leading international news sources, and supposedly performs weighted linguistic analysis on the text contained in their top news stories.

Then, he draws conclusions about the hour’s most important words. The top 100 words are chosen, along with 100 corresponding images, culled from the source news stories.

Pretty interesting. If you just quickly mouseover the images and see the words that pop up, it’s not that surprising, but still can be a bit depressing.
