According to Wordcount, conquistador is one of the world’s least frequently used words.
It is now my mission to increase the exposure, and consequently, the frequency of use, of conquistador.
You, too, should join my mission. Here are some ways to drop conquistador in conversation:
- “Boy, did you see that [football player] last night? What a conquistador!”
- “Who’s your conquistador?”
- “Did you watch the Emmys last night? Even though Everybody Loves Raymond sucks, it was quite a conquistador.”
- “Not all wine has to be a conquistador when it comes to your sensibilities. A more subtle bouquet can really please your palate.”
- “I’ll have a Diet Coke, a house salad and chili con quistador.”
