Drooling over movies

I love this movie. I don’t know why. It has to be a combination of Besson’s style, art direction and cinematography combined with very catchy music, great action, and Milla Jovovich and Bruce Willis. This is one of those movies that I can re-watch anytime it’s on. Everytime they come out with a new version, I buy it, even if there’s nothing really new on it. It’s a great story about the future and life and love, and I eat it up with both hands.

Fifth element is a great movie. Besson at his best, great OST and Bruce Willis and Dennis Rodman of course who both obviously had fun making this movie. My neighbours hate the movie. Wonder if that’s due to my subwoofer.

Funny, I just watched The Fifth Element again last night (for about the 25th time). I’m a big fan of all Besson’s films… with “The Big Blue” and “Leon” near the top of the list. And who didn’t love “The Transporter”, “La Femme Nikita”, and “Kiss of the Dragon”?

Yeah, Leon is one of my favorite movies of all time. Even with the dirty feelings I get watching Natalie Portman at age 12 act better than people four times her age.

The Transporter is good ol’ fun. The Transporter 2, unfortunately, is steaming ol’ shit.
