   Is it wrong that I kept hoping the croc was only PLAYING dead, and would spring to life so it could bite Steve's head off?

   Still, I'd sooner cry over a dead crocodile than over most people I meet.

   If it wasn't Steve Irwin, I would have loved to see that. But I think he has a genuine affection for animals, and since most animals are much better than people, I can appreciate that.

   I was alll "awwww" until he said "I loved her.. like.. like… I loved my wife".

   Since he's dead now, I will not ask the obvious and inappropriate questions here.
