This show, currently on Spike TV, has managed to really hook me. I think the main reason is because it’s not about Blade. In fact, Blade’s character is a bit monotonoous and cliched. But at least half of every episode is dedicated to Krista, played by Jill Wagner. Krista is someone who was working with Blade, was turned into a vampire and brought into their clan, and is now trying to destroy it from the inside, while struggling with her newfound evil nature. It’s compelling, the actress is gorgeous, and it feels very fresh and new. I can’t stop watching it now.
Wednesdays on Spike TV – give it a shot. You might be surprised.
