Abortion Shmashmortion

Thanks to those of you who tuned in for Episode 3 of “Clearly, you’re retarded”. The topic we discussed was whether or not a man should have a right when it comes to a woman getting pregnant or getting an abortion. If you missed it, you can download it (and should download it) here, or find it as a podcast through iTunes here, or just listen using the widget in my sidebar.

The concept of our show is, of course, to pick topics where Britt and I have diametrically opposed opinions, and then argue about them. It’s a simple concept, but the hard part is thinking of interesting topics. Nobody wants to hear us argue about why I love chocolate and Britt hates it.

We’ve come up with a good group of future topics, but I’m sure there are some better ones out there. Any suggestions? What topic would you like to see me and Britt tackle?

  2. The Men and Women can’t just be friends debate. I say it can be done, HHH says no way Jose’, which is why I had to give up a 23 year friendship with a guy I knew in high school and had kept in touch with all this time to keep my marriage stable. Try that shoe on for size!!!

Chocolate sucks because it’s mostly farmed by African child slaves. End of argument. :P

No suggestions. Because I suck hard. Which can be a good thing sometimes, but not in this case.

It seems as though I never get home in time to listen to you guys live. By the time I get some time to listen it’s around 9, which would be great if I lived on the east coast. But it was still a good show anyways.

I think I already had a topic (in the chat room.. before…)!
Since you guys like the non- controversial ones (haha), try some politics!
Other than that, I got nothin’. Too tired.
    Great show!

Next topic – anal sex. Discuss the ins and outs (har) of it. For fun, you be on the receiving end.

Hard to say what you two should talk about next, because I don’t know all the topics on which you disagree vehemently.

I haven’t listened to your show, though I’m sure it’s delightful.
I too think the Men and women can/can’t debate is always a good one, though I’m guessing you and Britt have the same opinion on that one! Play the devil’s advocate, Adam. Take it on!

  18. I just downloaded Episode 3. The first 15 minutes were hard…back and forth…stuck on your viewpoints. After that it was excellent and I was really moved by the call-ins and their experiences.

It’s definately worth downloading it, when you can’t listen to it live.

Here’s a topic. If a couple are in a relationship and one person works more hours and earns more money than the other, should there still be an equal division of the household duties…paying the bills, house chores, kid care?

  19. Great show, as usual. How about everybody except teachers being able to keep guns in their cars at work, people making fun of southern accents, censoring what children read, slavery (I just threw that in to see if you were still awake,) who does ‘inside’ and ‘outside’ chores, this damn ‘antennas not working after February’ that is being forced on us and makes it so that both TVs in my motorhome won’t work?..OK, I’m through..except for the one about texting at the movies and/or at church.
