Spreading the bloggy love
I'm exhausted tonight and watching Fringe almost put me to sleep, so instead of writing a post, I'm going to point you to a few people on my feed reader that you might be missing out on. These are just a sampling of some of the awesome bloggers I read, so if I left you out, it's only because (a) I think you are already pretty well-known among my readers, (b) I didn't have the space to include everyone, or (c) I'm jealous of your blog and don't want to send you any more traffic.
First, there's RW. Alternating between cranky thought provocation and sarcastic in-depth pondering, 1 step beyond will always make you think, even if you don't like what you're thinking.
Jenny is funny, sweet, friendly, and a bad ass dancer. One of the founders of TequilaCon, she has a great blog, run jen run, that never fails to entertain me. She doesn't post every day, but when she does, it's worth reading.
Wayne, aka, whall, is a Republican, but I like him anyways. He does great "day in the life" video posts that make me laugh, and he leaves some of the best comments on people's blogs. If you can forgive him for posting the LOLcats occasionally, he's worth adding to your feedreader.
Faiqa is pretty damn smart, was hot when I knew her in high school, and thinks she used to be cool. She also writes some excellent posts that are a bit evocative of Britt in their honesty and ability to self-analyze.
And last, but certainly not least, unless you're talking about hair on your head, is Cris over at Opprobrious. He's funny, perverse, and has plenty to say, but doesn't have enough people who want to read it!
Got an hour to spare tonight? Why not join us in the chatroom over at TalkShoe from 9 PM to 10 PM EST? Britt and I will be verbally titty twisting as we argue over yet another topic.
Tonight's topic is Environmentalism. What's going too far? Is global warming a myth? Should Al Gore be shot? Who knows what insults Britt will hurl my way?
You can listen live online at Talkshoe.com, or download the Talkshoe application and you can chat and even call in!
If you're new to the horrors of Avitable.com, don't miss out. Subscribe to my RSS feed!

Poor Wayne, the first trait used to describe him is Republican.
Fringe bored the hell out of me, but I'll probably keep watching at least for a few weeks to make sure it's boring

Fringe = BORING!

I have a date with my boyfriend because I posted on my blog that I was humanly deprived so he's taking me out. He is the sweetest person in the universe. Gahhhh…
But, I will keep the emailed promise to habitually attend the show when I get my new computer and INTERNET.
Have a great show!

Well now we have to break up. :finger:

HAHA you're obviously jealous of my blog. I knew it all along! :lmao: :lmao:

I actually liked Fringe. Which, is new, because I stopped watching series a long time ago (besides Lost) on major networks. I'm into HBO and Showtime series these days, oh, and Mad Men over on AMC.
I like all the sex that HBO shows. :sexytime: It's nice to reminisce about those days.

Yay! New blogs to read!
I will be at the show.
Wooohooo!
:woohoo:

I worked late and missed most of Fringe. I guess I didn't miss much? So the kids popped in the DVR of True Blood, the HBO Vampire series. It's very uncomfortable watching soft core porn with your teenagers. Boy was I glad when Grandma called!
Thanks for the plug! It must have worked, my site reader said I had two hits today! So either your promotional magic doubled my average or my Mom's off her medication again.

I'm not sold on Fringe yet, but I'll give it a shot for the next few weeks.
Jenny and Cris are two blogs I haven't perused. Will take your word for it and give 'em a spin.

Yep I watched Fringe, and I was hoping for at least some pokies..alas none. AND it sucked like a bad whore also. :violent029:

What most people don't know is – your radio show was originally called "Clearly You're Republican" – but the people who control the Internet (you know, the ones who actually have jobs and work, aka "republicans") intervened and coerced you to change the name to something less offensive to the general public. You were fine with this because they provided free cable for 6 months to feed your TV habit.
Oh, btw, I watched Spaceballs tonight in your honor. My wife hadn't seen it and was mostly 'blah' but thought the jawa/disney characters were cute.
And I know you just linked to me to subtly and subliminally remind me of the guest post I owe you. It's a video post and takes quite a bit of work. So you can call off your goons.

Thanks but I am VERY picky about who reads my blog.

You're such a complex and wonderful human being, avitable. You've got layers. And I'm sure they're more delicious ones than bacon and chocolate.
AND FUCK YOU, I AM COOL.

I knew it! You are prejudiced against Hoosiers! :pissed: Or else you just happen to know that my blog has been full of little or nothing worth reading…..that could be it. :loser:
Oh well. I'm sorry I missed the show last night. I was so tired, I just yelled at the kids and went to bed.

Lazy ass! :lmao:
Ok, jokes over. Now where's the real post?

Dude, Faiqa is MUCH MORE coherent than I am.
Love all of these peeps!

You didn't like Fringe? Maybe it was because I recorded it and watched it later without commercials, or maybe it's because I like Abrams' work (Lost), but I actually enjoyed the show. I'll admit, they didn't do that great a job encouraging curiosity (they gave away too many details in the pilot), but I'll probably give it a shot.

"Funny, sweet, friendly and a bad ass dancer" is the description I had always hoped for in my high school yearbook. Thanks for the shout out! But now what the heck is this Fringe everyone keeps talking about?

I'm telling myself it was C.

I know you think I'm awesome (you told me so), so you are probably jealous of my blog. I mean, my design alone must make you green with envy.

I always KNEW you were jealous of me :jerkoff2:

Fringe??? Isn't that the stuff that hangs off of the bottom of your jeans when they are too long and you walk all over them?

I finally got off my lazy butt and added the Blog of Whall to my feedreader. Lovin' it.

@Britt: Ok, I wasn't going to share this with anyone, but since it has come up… the other day my brother was looking at my blog and rambled over to your site from there. He says, "Wow, who's Miss Britt? She's just like you, only better and more well defined." I swear if I didn't adore you so much, I would have been pissed.

You're jealous of my blog! You're jealous of my blog! I knew it! You want the purple stripes! They call to you. The power of the purple stripes compels you! :lmao:

Clearly, you're jealous of my readership of 4.
Or Clearly, you're retarded. :finger:

Clearly I'm Depressed that Fringe was boring.
:crying:

Cleary, it's C for me. Oh, how I amuse myself. Thanks for the links.

I'm avoiding Fringe because I already am watching Terminator this season. I have room for maybe one more show after next week's season finale of Weeds season 4.
I agree with both run jen run and whall for blogs to read. Wayne, for being a staunch GOP supporter, is pretty reasonable. And the comments he leaves on people's blogs are downright clever. Never miss a DITL, either.

If you insist on spreading the bloggy love make damn sure your schwantz is wrapped up good. For your sake and ours.

This is awesome! Because of you I read Whall, who I've always thought was sexy, and now I see he's a Republican, too! And through him, I found out that Wesley Crusher blogs, and is a real geek, just like I always imagined! Thanks Avi!

Amanda, he's one of the few good ones, though.
Dave, it had a few moments that were interesting. I'm going to give it a few episodes.
Hello, yeah, you have to stop that damn bowling.
Poppy, make sure you download it, too!
Undomestic Diva, clearly, I'm jealous of your blog!
BPR, absolutely.
Andria, I dislike most major network shows, unless they have good writers.
Sybil, thanks for listening and calling in!
Cris, ooh, it's soft core porn? I'm going to have to watch that now.
BE Earl, you'll like them both, I'm sure.
Stan, it sucked like a boring, toothless whore. Just gumming around there.
Wayne, I thought the Jews controlled the internet along with the media? Your wife didn't like Spaceballs? Sigh.
RW, hahaha! Sycophants on their way!
Faiqa, the coolest. Like, totally, for sure!
HG, I'm just prejudiced against Indiana.
BlondeFabulous, I'm a man, not a machine!
Britt, true. But you were here first.
SciFi Dad, I like Abrams work – Alias was amazing, and even Lost was excellent when it started. I just thought it was way too slow moving and Josh Jackson annoyed the fuck out of me.
Jenny, I bet that's exactly what your high school yearbook said.
Gwen, of course!
Shelli, it's your Google ranking, actually.
Robin, you'd be right!
Greg Barbera, you are the weirdest person who comments on my site. That's saying something.
Crystal, everybody already knows you!
Dr. Zibbs, if you need to fall asleep, yeah.
TrishK, hah!
Kapgar, he's a good read.
Faiqa, did your brother like me, too? Huh? Huh?
Heather, I do like purple.
Stephanie, obviously.
NYCWD, yeah, I know.
BBM, actually, I want to keep you all to myself.
Marty, Terminator is probably better than Fringe, although not by much.
Jeff, you don't want little Avitablog kids running around?
Allyson, you didn't know that Will Wheaton blogged?
Hilly, you're already the queen of the Snackiepoo Mafia!
Michelle, is your blog going to scare me? I'm scared.

Heh! Now I know you're lying. We have the same GPR=4.

Shelli, but I don't come up when you search for Shelli with an "i"!

You do come up as the first link when you google "Avitable" however, they do suggest that you are spelling it wrong.
Reply
Shelli, yeah, there are two spellings of my name. Avitable and Avitable with an "i"!.
