Need a programmer

I need a PHP programmer who understands WordPress thoroughly.

I don’t need someone who “kind of knows something.” I know how to program, but I need someone who knows it in and out. An expert.

If you’re an expert in PHP, you understand WordPress, and you have time to do a project and get paid for it, please let me know.

You can leave a comment or email me at my first name (adam) at my last name (avitable) dot com.

If you’re reading this and you know anyone, please send them my way.

Thanks!

  1. Damn. I knew I should have finished reading that PHP book… Heh. I use it a lot at work but I’m no guru. I am pretty handy with WordPress though. What do you need done? Maybe I can just point you in the right direction and save you some money.

I continue to be reminded of the words of my old boss: “Don’t take that PHP class, you’ll never need it.” Eff. Not that I want to get paid to do a project for you anyway, I’m just saying, it really would have come in handy.

Sorry, my php is good but my knowledge is limited to design integration, not programming…

I know enough php to manage and maintain my own WP blog, but wouldn’t dare mess around with someone else’s!

Isn’t Jester some kind of WP/php wizard? Or Karen that designed Karl’s blog?

If you find someone that doesn’t suck, will you please-please-please post about it and let us all know about it?

I’ve been going through a series of less-than-competent WP folks lately, and would really like to find someone new.

(And the idea of letting them try out on your blog, rather than on mine, is just extra-special nice.)

I don’t know any of that stuff, but I can juggle a little.

    Does that help?

Hmm. I’ll tell you what. Tell me what you need done, I’ll outsource it to India, charge you what you would have paid in the U.S. anyway, and I’ll pocket the difference. Everyone wins.

  16. Well, you already know that I can’t help you but I do wish I could help you for once instead of it always being the other way around. If you need an e-mail account set up though – I’m your woman. THOSE I’ve figured out. :woohoo:

Good luck. I have to hire programmers from time to time, and there’s not a single PHP coder I’ve hired which I would hire again, let alone recommend. If all else fails, might try ODesk.

Why don’t you just ask the person who designed and coded this blog in the first place?
