Two Truths and a Lie

I know it’s been around forever, but I saw this yesterday on someone’s blog and thought it might be fun to do. Out of the following three statements, which one is a lie? It will be trickier than you think!

1. I failed one class each during high school, college, and law school.

2. I’ve never watched an episode of Survivor, but I watched all of the seasons of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.

3. When I went to summer camp as a kid, I didn’t go to the bathroom except to pee for the entire two weeks I was there.

I didn’t go to camp as a kid because I was concerned they wouldn’t have flush toilets and there was no way I was going to go poo in the woods.

It’s hard for me to believe you failed classes, so that must be true.

I’m going with the Queer Eye thing. I’ve watched way more of it than Survivor. (I’ve never seen Survivor on purpose, but I’m thinking the ex had it one once or twice.)

Oops, I said that wrong. I meant:

I was going to say #3, but I can’t imagine you not showering for two weeks, so I’ll go with #2. Because you’re a little metrosexual with your fancy hair dresser, etc.

  3. Miss Britt

I know you failed at least one class in college. I can’t imagine you failing a class in highschool.

I know #3 is true because you have serious issues and your mom decided to share them at Easter. Which? Was awesome.

I believe you haven’t seen Survivor, but I’m not sure you would watch Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, either. You don’t like reality shows.

    hmmmm…

    So I’m stuck between #1 and #2

Do I get a prize for all of this mental effort?

I’m going to go with #1. I think the lie is that you failed a class in law school. I can’t really see you failing a class in high school, but maybe you refused to dissect Kermit the Frog in biology and got an “F” for that class.

I’ll follow the crowd and go with #1 as the lie — probably ’cause you it wasn’t one each, but spread differently.

I think I did a one week camp as in #3, but I can’t imagine making it two weeks — that may be the most impressive thing I’ve heard from you!

I will say regarding #2 that I think you would’ve really appreciated Boston Rob in the All-Star season of Survivor.

#2 and I think you were very constipated and smelly after not using the toilet & shower facilities. I guess you thought the pool’s chlorine was adequate.
