I hate watching the awards shows *snore.*

There are so many awards we never hear about. My sister is a writer in L.A. who writes for a Disney Channel show and just got nominated for a WGA for Outstanding Writing in Children’s Episodic Programs. Even though nobody will ever hear about it she still gets to go to the awards show and rub elbows with all the beautiful people.

I have never understood the fascination with watching other people get accolades for something. It’s all so… boring. I’d rather people all stand around and ruminate on how awesome I am. Much more exciting.

Very true. He was terrific in the movie. I just watched it over this past weekend.

I thought about watching Post Grad, but couldn’t bring myself to do it.

And I agree that “Observe and Report” beats out “Paul Blart: Mall Cop” But, just barely.

i just don’t care about the oscars or any of those awards shows. if i like a movie, that is all that matters to me. yes, it is all about me. i have cramps and don’t feel well. so there. there’s that.
