      1. Actually, a couple of years ago, you could pay extra for a “premium coach” seat on Delta. I thought you still could? I’m not sure, because ever since the Delta/Northwest merger, my frequent flier status allows me to select the “premium coach” seats at no charge (though, to be honest, only the exit rows are in any way “premium”… the others are just closer to the front of the plane, but with no added leg-room or anything).

        1. @Dave2, I’ll have to look into that…I don’t have nearly the miles you have, though! I like AT better bc of being able to count on wifi (it’s hit or miss with Delta, it seems…I did NOT have it for the long ass flight to Hawaii).
