Sunday – more stupid questions

From Dave2:

  • What time did you get up this morning? 8:00 AM. Ish.
  • How do you like your steak? Medium rare.
  • What was the last film you saw at the cinema? Green Hornet. It was a lot of fun and I recommend it to people who don’t have sticks lodged in their collective asses.
  • What is your favorite TV show? Currently on air?  Community.  Of all time?  Veronica Mars.
  • If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be? Los Angeles.
  • What did you have for breakfast? I haven’t eaten breakfast yet, but I’ll probably have a bottle of water and a banana.
  • What is your favorite cuisine? Does chocolate count?  No?  Then, American.
  • What foods do you dislike? I don’t like:  pasta, marinara sauce, cauliflower, corned beef, food with bones (T-bone steaks, ribs, chicken wings, drumsticks, frog legs), escargot, foie gras, anything tartare, raw mushrooms, spicy food, lobster, crab, or shrimp.  I think that’s about it.
  • Favorite place to eat? I go through phases but right now, I don’t think I have a favorite place.
  • Favorite salad dressing? Ranch or Bleu Cheese.
  • What kind of vehicle do you drive? A 2002 Toyota Camry that just crossed the 100,000 mile mark.  It’s going to be time soon to upgrade.
  • What are your favorite clothes? None.
  • Where would you visit if you had the chance? I want to visit Europe soon, and within Europe, want to visit Ireland, Italy, England, Germany, France, and Amsterdam. I also want to visit Australia so, so much.  Of course, I still haven’t visited Hawaii, so I should do that first.
  • Cup 1/2 empty or 1/2 full? Half Full.
  • Where would you want to retire? To my very own island.
  • Favorite time of day? Around 3-4 AM when nobody’s around and it’s quiet.
  • Where were you born? Boston.
  • What is your favorite sport to watch? I hate sports.
  • Who do you think will never call you again? My former spouse.
  • Person you expect to call you next? Probably a client.
  • Bird watcher? Does “bird” mean 16-year old girls at the mall?
  • Are you a morning person or a night person? I’m both.
  • Do you have any pets? No.  I may get another pet in the future, but not right now.
  • Any new and exciting news you’d like to share? It’s my birthday on Wednesday!!
  • What did you want to be when you were little? I wanted to work for the CIA, first as an agent, then as a hitman.  I wanted to be a private detective.  I wanted to be a lawyer.
  • What is your best childhood memory? The first real kiss I had with a girl.
  • Are you a cat or dog person? I like both.  Dogs are more annoying, but cats are more standoffish, so they both have negative attributes.
  • Are you married? Not anymore.
  • Always wear your seat belt? Yes.  I drive very fast and it’s important for me to have my seatbelt on.
  • Been in a car accident? Never.

  • Which store would you choose to max out your credit card?
  • Do anything spontaneous lately? I don’t do anything spontaneously.  That’s not how I work.  I plan everything out at least in broad strokes.
  • Like your job? Not really anymore.  I’m done with it.
  • Broccoli? Yes.  I like both the food and the creator of James Bond.
  • What was your favorite vacation? Vacations to meet up with friends are always fun, and I think my trip to NYC for BlogHer may have been the best vacation I’ve been on yet.

  • What are you listening to right now? Nothing.  The TV is off and it’s completely quiet in my house, except for the clicking of my keys.
  • What is your favorite color? Blue.  Red.  Black.  Depends on my mood.
  • How many tattoos do you have? None.  And I never will.
  • How many times have you tagged someone to do a meme? I may have tagged people back in the beginning, but then I realized that tends to alienate people and is kind of stupid.  Anyone who wants to do this can do it.
  • What time did you finish this meme? 10:42 AM.  Of course, I still have one more question to answer, so that might change.  Oops.  10:43.
  • Coffee Drinker? [Answer copied directly from Dave’s original answer]: GACK! No. I have tried many time to try and drink coffee. I just can’t do it. I like the smell of it, but can’t stand the taste.

In other Avita-news, today is the birthday of an online friend of mine, Nina!  She writes over at Readerwritesmith and has recently resurfaced after being gone for many, many months.  Welcome back, Nina, and happy birthday!

But that’s not all!  It’s also the birthday of the Terror of the Northwest, Tracy Kaply! Kaply is feared nationwide for her razor tongue and acerbic attitude when the reality is that she’s just a big ol’ squishy nice person who loves to see pictures of my nuts.  Happy birthday, Kaply.

  1. I think I can’t be friends with you anymore because you didn’t mention Greece in the countries you want to visit while you’re in Europe. Seriously, dude? It’s the most beautiful country ever. And the food. And the scenary. And everything. GOD. Greece invented Europe. 😉

  2. Hmmm, triple chocolate, yes please!
Can you believe I have only ever been to Chik-Fil-A once in my life? (it was good) We don’t have them here. 🙁 As a consolation we do have Sonic – although their food sucks – and Burgerville, but only a 4 hour drive. We don’t have In-n-Out either. 🙁
And how much do I love the fact that you like the smell of coffee, but can’t make yourself drink it??? I think it might help me get going better in the mornings (I’m a night person), but I just can’t do it! I once worked in a coffee shop when I was in high school and love the smell of it, but blegh to the taste.
    Happy Birthday!

  3. my favorite show of all time is veronica mars too!
i just can’t believe you don’t like lobster, crab, or escargot….those might be my favorites. but i do agree with you on the triple chocolate!=)

  4. I recommend Dollhouse for your viewing pleasure. It’s more serious than Firefly, but once it gets rolling it’s definitely among Joss Whedon’s best, and at least they got two full seasons out before cancellation. Plus based on the cast and supporting actresses, Joss is coming around to my way of thinking regarding Asian bunnies.
