Interviews with Dead Celebrities, a book by Adam Heath Avitable

Call me Adam “Shameless Self-Promotion” Avitable

So, I wrote a book. Granted, it’s not even quite 30,000 words, and it’s currently only available as a Kindle book through, but it’s a start.

Introducing, “Interviews with Dead Celebrities”, an ebook by Adam Heath Avitable:

Should I buy your book?

Yes. Right now it’s only $2.99! You can’t even get a cup of coffee for that cheap!

What if I don’t have a Kindle?

That’s okay – there is a Kindle app for the iPhone and iPad, and multiple other devices, even Kindle for the PC and Mac, so if you buy it, you can read it on any number of electronic devices you may have.

If I’ve already read the interviews you’ve posted here over the years, why should I buy the book?

I wrote 15 new interviews that have never been published, including interviews with Heath Ledger, Lucille Ball, Princess Diana, Phil Hartman, Helen Keller, and others!

Who drew your cover image?

I did.

You know you’re fatter than that, right?

Definitely, but I needed to save space on the cover.

How can I help you to make this book a success?

First of all, thank you for offering. Secondly, the most important thing you can do is write a review of the book on Amazon. The more sales and reviews it gets, the higher it will appear in Amazon’s search results, which will give me a greater chance of having it published in a print format through Amazon’s publishing arm.

You could also buy, like, 100 copies a day if you wanted. Or just tell your friends to buy it. You can even tweet about it or put it on Facebook! If you want a banner or a graphic, let me know and I can send it to you.

Can you sign it for me?

Well, I guess I could sign your Kindle, but that’s impractical. Tell you what – if you buy it and write a review on Amazon, let me know and I’ll send you a signed sketch!

So, to sum up – buy your book, write a review of it, get a signed sketch, and have your love and admiration for eternity.

  1. Ranked #10 in the Humor/Parodies section of Amazon… above Pride and Prejudice and Zombies!!! Now THAT is cool!!!

Of course, I eagerly await to hear how you enjoyed the process of birthing the book, how the long tail plays out, and of course news on a sequel.

      1. @Avitable, For the record, I accepted your challenge and you asked me not to write a bad review. If you change your mind, let me know… That’s what friends are for.

  2. The cover is just great, congratulations. You have a gift for drawing. It actually looks just like you.
However I am just going to put this out there.
    Please stop shaving your head!
I know, I know, it’s just that I don’t like it. Sorry. You are way too handsome to be that bald on purpose.

    Hugs from Minnesota

      1. @Avitable,

At least one person on that book forum bought it since I posted about it. She didn’t know all the movie references but she thought it was the best $2.99 that she spent. She thought it was hysterically funny.
